Why attend the Norwegian Travel Workshop?

Prime networking opportunities

NTW is structured around two intensive days of B2B workshops, predominantly based on pre-booked appointments, ensuring that your time is efficiently spent meeting with a multitude of Norwegian suppliers. This is a golden opportunity to negotiate and finalize business contracts in person, a feat that can significantly bolster your business relationships and growth.

Discover and experience Norwegian Travel Products

Gain invaluable insights into new and existing Norwegian travel products. By attending NTW, you will have the chance to meet the people behind these products, enhancing your understanding and ability to promote them effectively. This hands-on experience is crucial for staying ahead in the competitive travel industry.

Build strong professional and personal networks

NTW isn’t just about business; it’s also about forming lasting relationships. The event offers social arenas for networking in the evenings, allowing you to connect with others in the industry in a more relaxed and informal setting. These interactions can lead to collaborations and partnerships that extend beyond the workshop.

Explore the host region and beyond

Participants will have the opportunity to discover the host region through various activities, as well as partake in pre-and post-tours to different regions of Norway. This immersive experience is not only enjoyable but also enhances your knowledge and appreciation of Norway’s diverse travel offerings.

Conclusion

The Norwegian Travel Workshop is more than just an event; it’s a gateway to expanding your business horizons, forging meaningful connections, and experiencing the best of what Norway has to offer. Don’t miss this unparalleled opportunity to elevate your business and connect with the heart of the Norwegian travel industry.

Pre and Post tours

Are you looking for new products or do you want to send a colleague to discover a part of Norway? Is there a region or a place in Norway you still need to get to know?

Pre-and post tours are organized before and after the NTW to different destinations in Norway, and buyers participating at the event can register to one of the tours. Deadline to register interest to the tours is the 19th of January.

How to register

First you need to register for the NTW and get access to Your Page. Then you will have the ability to register for tour(s) of interest.
In the beginning of February, you will be notified by your local IN representative whether or not are confirmed on a tour.
Price: the tour itself is free of charge, but there may be a charge for a domestic flight ticket.

Experience Norway first-hand

If there are products you think might fit well with your target group but that you need to experience first-hand, take advantage of this unique offer and diversify your product portfolio!

Choose between the idyllic southern coastline with its numerous small islands, the inner parts of the country where lakes, mountains and villages reign, and the world famous Western Fjords where glaciers are within reach. Continue to the middle part of Norway where the forest is king, before continuing above the Arctic Circle – where white sandy beaches and high-peaked mountains form a delightful contrast to the Norwegian sea.

Wide range of activities

You can not only expect beautiful landscapes, but the tours are also rich in history, cultural and exciting activities. How about a sea eagle safari, learning to master skiing like a true Norwegian or a cable car ride that lifts you from the fjord to 1011 m? Visit museums about folklore, as well as maritime and local culture.

Walk in the footsteps of the pilgrims, explore Viking adventures and be inspired by the life of famous Norwegian artists and explorers like Edvard Munch, Roald Amundsen, Thor Heyerdahl and more.

Norwegian culinary experience

Local gastronomy is an important element of these tours: expect visits to local and historical farms, micro breweries and distilleries. You might be surprised by the quality of the Norwegian products and may want to include such culinary experiences in your programmes.
